Polishing natural stone
The polishing process always involves three key stages, each of which must be carried out with precision to avoid damaging the natural stone:
Step 1: Rough grinding – The first essential process for preserving the quality, aesthetics, functionality, and color of the stone. This is the step prior to polishing, where successive passes are made with different discs to prepare the surface.
Step 2: Polishing – This is the most decisive phase, where abrasive components are used to help achieve the desired finish on the surface.
Step 3: Shining – Once the previous step is complete, we move on to the polishing phase using special stones, a phase in which it is even possible to achieve a finish on the tiles that looks as if they have just come out of the factory.
